Please read our Charter and Guidelines(Required)The Canna Consortium Charter 1 Executive Summary This document is intended to set forth the purpose of The Canna Consortium. 2 TheCannaConsortium Definition The Canna Consortium is, first and foremost, a collective of ethically operating businesses that seek to advance the Cannabis Industry in any way, promoting quality, compliance, and sustainability. Equally important, is the collaboration with other Members, and the Community, to provide value to, and for, one another. Key objectives include education for the Community and business development for all constituents. Currently our focus is around the science of extraction. Other verticals will be available soon such as cultivation, retail, etc. 2.1 Vision Create value for CC members in terms of quality, compliant and sustainable business practices, and promote business amongst an ethically operating consortium. Provide helpful content, resources and recommendations that create a successful vetted supply chain of businesses from plant to product. 2.2 Objectives Business Objectives • Communicate relevant industry news, best practices, and information that enables operators to function compliantly, efficiently, and sustainably. © • Participate in regulatory and policy discussions to protect the industry. • Create a “value add” for participating companies as a resource for clients. • Work in conjunction between members and clients to create an efficient decision-making process Technology Objectives • Utilize tools and resources to share information with the Members and Community in a timely fashion. Examples include www.thecannaconsortium.com, LinkedIn, Clubhouse, Instagram, etc. • To build an online presence with which the Community can engage and obtain valuable information and with which the Members are able to create, develop, and share quality and value-add business relationships. 3 Organization 3.1 Founders 3.2 Partners • Any entity nominated to become a “Partner” by one the Founding Members • Any entity that applies to become a “Partner” and is subsequently approved by a majority of the Founding Members • Verified business • Corporate financial stability and longevity in market • Non-predatory business practices • Show interest in continuing the aid in the growth of TheCannaConsortium • Quality products and services sold 3.3 Associates The “Associates” consists of entities that are nominated (self or otherwise) seeking to be part of the Canna Consortium. • Any entity that applies to become a “Associate” and is subsequently approved by a majority of the Founders and Partners • Verified entity involved in the cannabis • Corporate financial stability and longevity in market • Non-predatory business practices • Quality products and services sold 3.4 Community Members The “Members” consists generally anyone in the industry seeking information or relationships with ethical and vetted providers in the space. • Verified business or person involved in the cannabis 3.5 Benefits of Membership Founders and Partners • Shared dynamic marketing • Utilizing combined newsletters, social media, linked in, events, tradeshows, etc • Featured placement on website, social media posts and blogs • Reshares of content • Engagement at speaking engagements and featured articles • Mailing/member list sent every quarter • Exclusivity to knowledge, networking, and references of founding members • Added input into the direction and continuation of TheCannaConsortium • Add seal/logo to own website, social media bio, etc. • Part of the LinkedIn Group Associates • Entity name placement on CC website under Associates page • Exclusivity to knowledge, networking, and references of founding members • Add seal/logo to own website, social media bio, etc. • Part of the LinkedIn Group Community Members • Access to cutting edge information, policy, regulation, and scientific innovations • Access to decades of experience and expertise from our founder and partners • Potential to save time and money • Part of LinkedIn Group 3.6 Responsibilities Founders • The Founders steer the group and vote or nominate the addition of new Partner applications. Founders also may remove Partners or Community participants found to misaligned with the mission/vision of TheCannaConsortium. All Founders and Partners may provide content and contribute to the various topics offered to the “Community” Associates & Community Members • The Associates and Community members should be aligned with the vision of TheCannaConsortium, or else can be removed from the group. 3.7 Financial Plan • Founders and Partners have a shared media and in person marketing strategic plan that is decided to every year that is then split between those entities for that year. Usually, our strategic plan consists of regional events, presence at expo shows, speaking engagements, networking events. • Founders, Partners, and Associates pay an annual fee for the related digital resources provided monthly by The Canna Consortium dependant on the membership level. The digital content consists of newsletters, blogs, website upkeep, etc. • Founders and Partners may agree to share a specific cost in advance of a particular financial obligation outside of the strategic plan as things come forward. Such costs may include marketing aids, events, conferences, and other such business expenses.
